Host24 provides cloud hosting services in our Macquarie Telecom data center. Located at our 43MW Macquarie Park campus (Sydney’s northwest), the state of the art and vendor-neutral Sydney IC2 facility is designed and proven for enterprise colocation, wholesale and government tenancy.

The highly-certified facility, owned and operated by Macquarie Data Centres is located at a convenient 15kms distance from the centre of Sydney, Australia with interconnection available to all major carriers, cloud providers and Macquarie’s IC1 colocation facility located in Sydney’s central business district.

  • On-site diesel tanks (6 x 60,000 litres) support 24 hours at full capacity with 24×7 diesel delivery
  • A third 20MVA feed will be on stream in 2011

Cooling and Environment

  • Minimum N+1 resilience on chilled water cooling system 6+1 4.5MW water cooled chillers
  • Diverse chilled water distribution pipe work (ring main type) throughout data centre with N+1 flow and return pipe work via N+1 risers
  • CRAC units within customer areas provided at minimum N+1
  • Temperature and humidity in technical space to industry accepted standards and maintained within energy efficient parameters
